What is Kerridge SOAP?
Kerridge SOAP has got absolutely nothing in common with any personal hygiene products on the market, so what exactly is it?
The new Kerridge SOAP Server has been developed using the latest industry standard. Simple Object Access Protocol, and provides a powerful, real-time link between Microsoft Excel and Kerridge Advanced Analysis or Management Accounts data on the Kerridge system.
This new product provides the user with a flexible, active spreadsheet tool that combines the wealth of information already contained within Advanced Analysis and the power of Excel.
What is Kerridge SOAP used for?
When the Kerridge SOAP Server is used to link a spreadsheet to the Kerridge system, the spreadsheet, once created, can be saved. The next time it is opened, it is populated with the latest data from the Kerridge system without the need to import or export any data. From then, the full functionality present in Excel can be used to manipulate the data yet further within the spreadsheet.
Standard security features are included, providing the same access restrictions to data as the user's normal Kerridge login and password would do.
What are the benefits of SOAP?
The Kerridge SOAP server provides a simple interface between Microsoft Excel and Kerridge Advanced Analysis, which results in an extremely powerful reporting tool.

Once the Excel spreadsheet has been created and formatted to show the data required using the embedded Kerridge SOAP Toolbar, nothing further is needed to display the latest data from the Kerridge system.
Using the Kerridge SOAP Toolbar, an existing spreadsheet can be easily amended, to display data from different financial periods, time slices, different datasets (i.e. Actual, Budgets etc) or even combine data from multiple drill profiles on the one spreadsheet. Alternatively, completely new spreadsheets can be easily created from scratch.
